Built by Luan & the local crew
I'm Luan, founder of Ocoee Concrete & Pavers. We started in 2020 with a simple idea: do hardscape work in Central Florida the way it should be done — proper base preparation, the right materials for our climate, and the same crew from start to finish. Hundreds of paver and concrete projects later, that approach hasn't changed.

Central Florida's sand-clay soil mix and high water table require a 6–8 inch crushed stone base (vs the 4 inch standard in northern states) and a 1% minimum drainage slope. Improper base prep is the #1 cause of paver failure in Orange, Osceola, Lake and Polk counties. Every install we do uses 95%+ Standard Proctor compaction, woven geotextile fabric, and rigid edge restraints to handle Florida's seasonal water cycles.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about paver, concrete and hardscape work in Central Florida.
How much does a paver driveway cost in Central Florida? +
Paver driveways across Central Florida typically range from $8,000 to $22,000, depending on size, paver style and site conditions. The biggest cost drivers are square footage, paver brand (Belgard / Tremron / Pavestone), and whether existing concrete needs to be demolished first. A 600 sq ft driveway with mid-grade concrete pavers usually runs $10,000–$14,000 installed. Call (689) 243-5726 for a free on-site estimate.
How is your installation process different from other contractors? +
We follow a written 38-point installation process on every job — from on-site soil assessment and 95% Standard Proctor base compaction, to woven geotextile fabric, polymeric sand activation, and final QC walkthrough. Most local contractors skip the geotextile or under-compact the base. That's why so many pavers in Central Florida sink or shift after 2–3 years. See all 38 points →
Which Central Florida cities do you serve? +
We serve a 30-mile radius of Ocoee, FL — that includes Ocoee, Winter Garden, Orlando, Kissimmee, Windermere, Apopka, Clermont, Davenport, Lake Nona, Dr. Phillips, Four Corners and Celebration. See all paver service areas or all concrete service areas.
Are pavers better than concrete for Florida's climate? +
Both work well — pavers handle Florida's heat, rain and occasional freeze-thaw better than poured slabs because they flex naturally, drain through joints, and individual pavers can be replaced without breaking up the whole surface. Concrete is more affordable upfront and great for utility surfaces. We install both and recommend based on your goals and budget. Read our full comparison →
Do you offer financing? +
We don't offer in-house financing, but most homeowners use home improvement loans (Synchrony, GreenSky), HELOCs, or contractor card programs through our recommended lenders. We can connect you to financing partners during the estimate process.
How fast can you start a paver or concrete project? +
From signed quote to project start is typically 1–3 weeks during the busy season (Feb–May, Sep–Nov) and 1 week during slower months (June–Aug, Dec–Jan). Smaller jobs (patios, walkways) can sometimes start within a week. Permitting and HOA approval can add 1–4 weeks depending on the city.
Do you handle permits and HOA approval? +
Yes. We handle Orange, Osceola, Lake and Polk county permits as part of our service and include permit fees in our quote. For HOA-managed communities (Hamlin, Watermark, Heritage Hills, Celebration, etc.) we provide a complete submission packet with material samples, dimensioned drawings and color renderings.
What warranty do you provide? +
Every project comes with a written 2-year workmanship warranty, transferable to the next property owner. On top of that, all Belgard and Tremron pavers carry the manufacturer's lifetime warranty against structural failure. Read the full warranty →
