Epoxy Floor Coating in Central Florida
Bare concrete garage floors are porous, stain easily from oil and chemicals, and look unfinished. An epoxy floor coating transforms that same surface into something that looks like a showroom — durable, easy to clean, and impressively finished. Done right, it lasts 10–20 years.
We install complete epoxy floor systems for residential garages, commercial spaces, workshops and pool decks across Central Florida. Every installation begins with diamond grinding the concrete — removing any existing sealer, opening pores for proper adhesion. We never roll epoxy over unprepped concrete, which is why our coatings bond properly and last.
Our Epoxy Floor System
- Step 1 — Diamond Grinding: We grind the existing slab to open concrete pores and remove all previous coatings. This is what separates professional installs from DIY kits.
- Step 2 — Moisture Primer: Moisture-tolerant base coat applied to Florida's often-humid concrete slabs.
- Step 3 — Color Coat + Flakes: Epoxy base in your chosen color with broadcast vinyl flakes for texture and slip resistance.
- Step 4 — Polyurea Topcoat: UV-stable clear topcoat (4x harder than standard epoxy). Resists yellowing, hot tire marks and chemical spills.
Why UV-Stable Topcoats Matter in Florida
Standard epoxy turns yellow within 1–2 years in Florida's intense UV environment. We use polyurea or polyaspartic clear topcoats that are UV-resistant — critical in Florida garages with direct sun exposure or overhead windows. These systems also cure in hours instead of days, so you're back in your garage faster.
